Rochelle has been a licensed mental health provider for 20 years. She has worked with Co-Response teams for the past seven years, including being embedded with law enforcement and the community. Rochelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing a co-response model to the Marysville Police Department. She has extensive training and knowledge of de-escalation skills, crisis prevention and intervention skills, suicide prevention, experience in crisis negotiation, Criminal Diversion programs, and community support. Rochelle meets people where they are and believes in building trust and rapport. She has been "boots on the ground," working with individuals, families, and communities during crises related to both mental health and substance use. Rochelle can assess the situation quickly and meet the needs of the person or persons in crisis. She is trained in other areas, such as DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed, crisis intervention, brief solution-focused, and family systems approach, and she believes in integrating the mind and body to work as a system.
