Our mission is to foster a healthier future for Tribal members by promoting sustainable nutrition practices rooted in our cultural values.
The Tulalip Tribes Registered Dietitian is dedicated to empowering our community through personalized nutritional guidance. We assist individuals in developing healthy dietary habits, provide education on mindful eating and food choices, and support lifestyle modifications that enhance overall well-being.
The Tulalip Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) is an evidence-based program that encourages individuals to live healthier lives. Tulalip SNAP-Ed educates the community on the importance of good nutrition while teaching them how to further make their food dollar stretch. Participants also learn to be physically active while developing good exercise habits. The program will promote good nutrition at community health fairs, present nutrition education classes, and work with other systems and the community's environment to increase health.
Serves Tulalip tribal members and Native Americans who reside within Snohomish County and are enrolled with a federally recognized tribe.
