Agnes Borjal is a foreign graduate who began her physical therapy career in Southwest Florida in 2006. There, she immersed herself in outpatient, acute, and subacute care systems, with a focus on orthopedic, geriatric, and aquatic therapies.
Since moving to Washington in 2009, her focus has shifted to home health therapy, where she began her journey with chronic comorbidities and complex patient management. In 2014, she received her Certificate of Orthopedic Movement Specialist, which inspired her to return to outpatient integrative health models.
Agnes describes her approach as a journey of mindfulness, movement, and meditation to create lasting optimal outcomes for patients of any background. Her philosophy is to empower patients by helping them understand their bodies at any level, optimize their functional abilities, and push their capacities to new levels. She encourages her patients to see themselves as the drivers of their vessels, with her team helping them navigate their way.
In her spare time, Agnes enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pup. She is a kitchen scientist who loves the beautiful Pacific Northwest outdoors, reading, dancing, and enjoying all the feelings of life.
