Antonia Ramos, Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist

Antonia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who is honored to return to serving the Tulalip community. As a member of the Tulalip Tribes, she has a personal connection to the community and is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive space for those seeking care.

Antonia holds a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Florida State University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families, as well as providing support around trauma, life transitions, relationships, generational trauma, and emotional challenges.

Antonia’s approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based. She believes that healing begins with feeling heard, respected, and understood, and that therapy should be a collaborative process in which clients play an active role in their own healing.

As an Art Therapist, Antonia is passionate about using creativity and art as another way to explore experiences, express emotions, and support healing. She also values culture, family, community, identity, and connection, and strives to incorporate these aspects of a person’s life into the therapeutic process when they are meaningful to the client.

Antonia is excited to serve the community she calls home and looks forward to building relationships with Tribal members and families. She hopes to create a space where people feel safe to be themselves, explore what they are going through, recognize their strengths, and move toward the kind of healing that feels right for them.
