Veronica Walters is a Family Nurse Practitioner who provides primary care for all ages. Her areas of interest include wellness and disease prevention, sick and acute illness care, and managing chronic diseases such as hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes, and women's care.
Ms. Walters is originally from New Jersey and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at The College of New Jersey. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at Toledo University Health Sciences (Medical College of Ohio) and her Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate at Otterbein University in Ohio. The American Nurse Credentialing Center certifies her.
She has been practicing in primary care settings for 14 years as a Nurse Practitioner and for ten years before that, as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical settings.
She believes that patients and providers are partners and work together to prevent or decrease risks of illness, try to minimize complications of chronic conditions, and maximize overall health and quality of life.
